On Saturday, February 18th, 2017, Flatbush Tenant Coalition (FTC) welcomed more than 350 tenant leaders, family, friends, and neighbors to our 2nd Annual U.N.I.T.Y. Benefit Brunch where guests enjoyed a beautiful space; delicious food; amazing music; powerful presentations and so much more!
Most importantly, we DOUBLED our fundraising from last year!!

The exciting program was carried out by tenant leaders Sherry Ann Bain, Ruth Riddick, and Marie Laroche — who spoke about our collective fight for a more just Housing Court, recapped our historic trip to the Women’s March on Washington and faithfully moderated the event from start to finish (respectively).
Brunch guests included Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Council Member Mathieu Eugene, Coucil Member Darlene Mealy, Assembly Member Robert Carroll, Mr. Harrison Green from the Office of New York State Senator Kevin Parker, and 58th Assembly District Leader Cory Provost.
Congratulations to our fundraising committee, food committee, decorations committee and all of our tenant leaders who raised donations & sold tickets to make our 2nd Annual U.N.I.T.Y. Benefit Brunch an incredible success!
We are Powerful. We are Community. And we are a force to be reckoned with!!
