Flatbush Tenant Coalition leaders at 125 Lenox Road are fighting their landlord for repairs and to stop intense harassment in their building that makes tenants fear for their safety.
Tenants won two rent reductions for decreased services in the building, putting pressure on the landlord to do repairs.
The two rent reductions collectively cover 19 tenants and represent tens of thousands of dollars that tenants have saved in rent since they are not getting all the services they otherwise pay for (ie. maintenance and proper repairs.)
We celebrate Coalition leaders, Redoneva, Beverly, Hazelann, Shirley for never backing down in their demands for basic repairs and respect!
